About Us

Servant's Heart Ministries is a Canadian registered charity with Canada Revenue Agency and is based in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.

We feel as Christians it is incumbent upon us to serve the needs of the disadvantaged people Christ puts before us.

We accomplish this by working in two main areas. Firstly, we run a health center, Centro de Salud Danica, in a Dominican Village. Secondly, we work with local Pastors assisting them in reaching out to their communities.

None of this would be possible without the help of Short Term Mission Teams, that work together with us, to minister to the needs of the people of the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

Currently serving in the field is Phil and Donna Williams and their sons Scott (20) and James (17).

Our first personal contact with missions was in March of 2005. We were invited to take part in a one week trip to the Dominican Republic. This was our first trip outside of Canada. Our second was when we moved there to live six months later.

We believe everyone is blessed with their own unique gifting in ministry. We also believe as christians we are to use those gifts for Him.

Phil and Donna have been involved in their local church for many years holding various positions, serving God and their local church, as He directed.

Philip with many years of construction and related experience and Donna with her teaching and music ministry background are now continuing to use their gifts for God in the Dominican Republic.
